SEEN ART BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY – OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
This giveaway is promoted by Seen Art Limited, Office 34, 1 Rocks Lane, London, SW13 0DE, United Kingdom ("Promoter"). By participating, entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
This giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The promotion is open to participants globally, but is strictly void where prohibited or restricted by local law. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of Seen Art, Carrie Scott, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
3. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on September 8, 2026 and closes on September 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM (GMT). Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
No purchase, survey completion, or social media account is required to enter or win. Participants may enter through one of the following three methods:
Method 1 (Survey Entry): Complete and submit one of the three Seen surveys: Collector Survey, Art Enthusiast Survey, or Community Survey.
Method 2 (Instagram Entry): Follow @watchseenart, like the official giveaway announcement post, and tag two (2) or more users in the comments.
Method 3 (Alternative Free Entry Route): Send an email to hello@seen.art with the subject line "Entry" and include your full name in the body of the email.
Entry Limits: All three methods of entry provide an equal chance of winning. There is a strict limit of one (1) entry per person across all entry methods combined. Multiple entries from the same individual, or entries using multiple email addresses/Instagram accounts, will be disqualified.
5. Prize Details & Limitations
A total of seventeen (17) individual prizes are available to be won across our birthday promotion channels. For the Community Survey promotion pool, five (5) individual winners will receive a complimentary one-month membership to the Seen tier of their choice (Seen Artist, Seen Friend, or Seen Collector tiers; maximum retail value £40).
Additionally:
Five (5) winners will each receive a one-month membership to the Seen Friend tier (individual retail value £7).
Five (5) winners will each receive a one-month membership to the Seen Collector tier (individual retail value £40).
Two (2) winners will each receive a free Individual Artwork and Collection Appraisal Service (individual retail value £200).
Membership Renewal & Conversion Terms: Due to technical specifications of the Squarespace membership platform, new membership winners must input valid credit or debit card details at checkout to activate their prize. Winners will be issued a custom 100% discount code making the initial checkout total £0.00.
Automatic Rollover: Upon expiration of the complimentary one-month promotional period, the membership will automatically convert into a paid monthly subscription billed at that chosen tier's standard retail rate.
Cancellation Policy: Winners are under no obligation to continue. Winners may cancel their membership online at any time during the free month via their Squarespace account dashboard to prevent future charges. No cancellation fees apply.
Existing Member Prize Substitution: If a randomly selected winner is already an active, paying member of any Seen membership tier at the time of the drawing, the Promoter will manually credit or refund the winner the cash equivalent of one (1) month of their existing subscription fee. The refund will be processed directly to the original payment method on file within fourteen (14) business days of winner verification.
6. Winner Selection & Odds
A total of 17 winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries across all three entry methods. The random drawing will be conducted using an independent digital randomizer process within seven (7) business days of the giveaway closing. The odds of winning any individual prize depend entirely on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
7. Winner Notification & Claim
Selected winners will be contacted via the email address used to enter (or via Instagram Direct Message if they entered via Method 2) within 14 business days of the close of the giveaway. If a winner does not respond to claim their prize within five (5) business days of the initial notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible pool.
8. Advertising Standards Compliance
This promotion is conducted in accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code), as administered by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). 9. Data Protection & UK GDPR
Seen Art Limited is the Data Controller for personal information collected in connection with this giveaway. Personal data will be processed strictly in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Legal Basis: Personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in administering this promotional event.
Data Retention: Personal data collected solely for the purpose of running this giveaway will be retained for no longer than six (6) months following the close of the giveaway to handle prize distribution and compliance audits, after which it will be securely deleted.
Your Rights: Participants have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of their personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@seen.art.
Complaints: Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
10. Complaints Procedure
Any complaints or disputes regarding the administration of this giveaway should be submitted in writing to hello@seen.art. Seen Art will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five (5) business days and will aim to investigate and fully resolve the issue within twenty-eight (28) business days.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seen Art Limited is not responsible for any technical failures, network outages, lost or misdirected entries, or any injury or damage to persons or property related to participation in this giveaway. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. General Conditions & Winner Publicity
Seen Art Limited reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this giveaway at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion.
To comply with the CAP Code, the Promoter must either publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. Winners have the right to object to their surname and county/country of residence being published, or to request that the amount of information shared be reduced. To object, or to request the list of winners' surnames and regions, please contact hello@seen.art within 30 days of the closing date.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with this giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
