Last updated: May 2026

When you submit your interest via the waitlist form, your personal data will be handled by both organisations. This notice explains how.

Who we are

Seen Art is an art consultancy that has partnered with The Luminaire on the design of this Venice Biennale experience. Registered address: Office 34, 1 Rocks Lane, London, England, SW13 0DB. For all privacy queries: hello@seen.art

The Luminaire is the luxury travel company that will operate this experience. Registered address: 2nd Floor, Nucleus House, 2 Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, TW9 2JA. For all privacy queries: enquiries@theluminaire.com

Each organisation acts as an independent data controller in respect of its own processing of your data.

What data we collect

Through this form, Seen Art collects your name and email address, together with any other details you choose to provide about your interest in the experience.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

Seen Art uses your data to log your interest in the Venice Biennale experience and to share it securely with The Luminaire.

The Luminaire uses your data to follow up with you directly about the experience — typically via a personal email from one of its Travel Designers.

Neither organisation will use your data for any other purpose without your separate consent.

The legal basis for processing

Both Seen Art and The Luminaire rely on legitimate interests as the lawful basis for processing your data in connection with this experience. You have expressed interest in a specific trip; contacting you about that trip is what you would reasonably expect them to do.

If you have separately opted in to marketing communications from The Luminaire, it relies on your consent for that purpose.

How long we keep your data

Each organisation will retain your contact details for as long as is necessary to follow up on your interest in this experience, and no longer than 12 months from the date you submit the form, unless you have separately consented to ongoing marketing communications.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data held about you

  • Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected

  • Ask for your data to be deleted

  • Object to the processing of your data

  • Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact the relevant organisation using the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Data security

Your data is shared between Seen Art and The Luminaire securely. Both organisations take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

Changes to this notice

This notice applies specifically to data collected via the seen.art/venice form. If anything material changes, both organisations will update this page and revise the date above.
