September Artist Support Group

£12.00

Our next Artist Support Group session will be on September 29, 2026, 5:30 pm UK time / 12:30 pm NYC time.

Last month, we got real about the stuff nobody talks about in the art world - gallery representation, pricing, cold outreach, time management, rejection. Over 40 artists showed up from around the globe and asked the questions that actually matter:

  • "Do I even need a gallery?" (Spoiler: maybe ….not.)

  • "How many times is it okay to follow up with a gallery without being annoying?" (Answer: way more than you think.)

  • "How do I price my work so I'm not leaving money on the table?"

  • "Why am I spending all my time on admin when I should be making?"

  • "What do I do when a gallery says no?"

We didn't have all the answers. But we had honest conversations and real examples. Artists at different stages of their careers showed up to share what they've learned - the wins and the failures. And honestly? It was incredible.

This month, we’re tackling everything to do with art fairs - should you go to them? Is it ok to approach a gallery at one? Are the satellite fairs worth it? Does it make sense to exhibit at one? We’re going to get into everything you didn’t know you wanted to know about art fairs.

This isn't a masterclass. It's not a pitch. It's a space where you can ask the unglamorous questions about building an art career and actually get thoughtful responses from people who get it and, crucially, are going through it too.
