Art Fair Guide: 4 Hour Long Tour
See less, but see better.
Art fairs are overwhelming. Hundreds of galleries. Thousands of artworks. And absolutely no chance you can see everything.
Nor should you. Join curator, art historian and broadcaster Carrie Scott for a private, fast-paced tour of the fair, cutting through the noise to find the artists, galleries and works actually worth stopping for.
This isn’t an art-history lecture, and you don’t need to know anything about contemporary art before you come. Carrie will explain what you’re looking at, why it matters, what things cost, how the art market works and what she thinks is genuinely exciting, without the jargon or pretense that makes the art world feel unnecessarily difficult to navigate.
For new collectors, it’s a way to build confidence and understand what you like. For established collectors, tours can be tailored around particular artists, galleries, price points or collecting interests. And for anyone simply curious about contemporary art, it’s a way to experience an art fair with someone who knows how to edit it.
Tours can be completely bespoke and may include introductions to galleries, conversations around particular works and advice on potential acquisitions.
Come curious. Leave knowing what you actually saw.
Please note: All tours are subject to Carrie’s availability and must be confirmed with Carrie before booking.
